If you want to take part into an unforgettable experience through the natural beauties of Italy, its ancient culture and delicious typical dishes, from a Rotaractor point of view, you cannot miss this great opportunity...
It will be a wonderful way to get in touch with other Rotaractors coming from all over the world and have new friends abroad!
The roundtrip lasts 10 days: it will take place from 19th to 28th MARCH 2010!!!

Hello Rotaractors,

The Rotaract Club of Toronto, Canada would like to extend to your club an opportunity to participate in the Rotaract International Recipe Calendar 2010.

Time is a factor so if you would like to participate please reply as soon as possible and forward this email to any other clubs you know that might be interested.

While participation is quick and easy, we are trying to have the calendar out by the end of September 2009 so that all participating clubs have 3 months to sell it before the New Year. The deadline for submissions is September 7th, 2009.

The Rotaract Club of Toronto is contacting Rotaract Clubs internationally, and collecting information to make one page in a calendar for each of the participating clubs. The calendar theme is international recipes, specifically something traditional from the country of the participating club. This information will then be combined into a calendar format and a copy sent back to each participating club as a print ready file for you to print and sell as you wish, with proceeds going to the local charity of your choice. You can then sell it as a calendar and as a compilation of international recipes.

This is a great way for your Rotaract club to raise funds for your local charity, help other clubs internationally raise funds for their charities, and for everyone to become more involved in the international Rotaract community. We will format the calendar but need from you the following to fit in one calendar page:

1. A traditional recipe from your country.

2. An appropriate picture i.e. your club, the meal or your club enjoying the meal. (The image should be .jpg format with a minimum resolution of 2MP (1600x1200), 3MP (2048x1536) or higher is preferred).

3. A sentence or two about your club; e.g. where you're from, who your members are and something interesting or unusual about your club/yourselves/your country.

4. A sentence or two about the local charity that your profits will be donated to.

!!!All of the above are mandatory for participating in this project!!! Please forward this email to the Rotaract clubs that you think might be interested to participate. If you would like to see our 2009 calendar as an example, please let us know so we can send you an electronic copy.

1era asamblea a de RDR´s y REM

Este 22 de agosto se llevo a cabo la 1era asamblea a de RDR´s y REM en la gubernatura Rotaria en la Cd. de México. Con una excelente asistencia de los RDR´s de toda la República y teniendo como oradores invitados a Alfonso Lozano P.R.D.R. 4170 Y presidente fundador de la REM y Ramón Losa P.R.D.R 4170 Y PPREM, asi como German Oyosa Roldan quien transmitió el evento por RADIO ROTARIO.

Se definió como sede de la próxima Conferencia Nacional a Tampico 2010 que recibirá a todos los rotaractivos del país en el mes de junio.

Una larga sesión que alcanzó muy buenos acuerdos y sirvió para la presentación del equipo que estará trabajando este año para la Agencia Informativa REM.

Mensaje de Bienvenida

Este nuevo año Rotario 2009-2010, donde “El futuro de Rotary está en nuestras manos” marca una gran meta como Rotaract a nivel nacional, una meta que un grupo de personas que al igual que todos en su momento fuimos invitados, luego miembros y ahora Representantes de Distrito y miembros de la Agencia Informativa REM (Rotaract en México) tenemos que cumplir y digo tenemos porque es una responsabilidad que nos dieron nuestros distritos y nuestros clubes y como tal debemos de afrontarlo de la manera adecuada.

Creo firmemente en el proyecto de Rotaract y creo que este año demostraremos porque México es uno de los principales Países que cree en la humanidad, en la fe, en el apoyo en equipo y en el desarrollo de nuevos líderes que el día de mañana estaremos tomando las decisiones de este país y que la formación que estamos desarrollando formando parte de esta linda familia nos ayudara a responder a todas las adversidades que nos puedan esperar.

Los invito a que participemos este año muy activamente en cada uno de nuestros clubes, en cada actividad, ya que al alimentarnos de Rotaract, alimentamos al mundo y creo que es una necesidad que hoy en día tenemos. También demos a conocer lo que hacemos, lo que somos, compartamos el hecho que somos el mejor club juvenil en el mundo, porque no somos uno, somos miles. Aprovechemos esto y unamos esfuerzos, demos resultados y hagamos de nuestras vidas un proyecto de servicio en el cual sepamos que si nosotros cambiamos una sola cosa, esa cosa cambiara a otra, al grado de que nos demos cuenta que haber vivido valió la pena al final del camino.
